About The Event

The course is based on the Bhagavad-Gita, spoken 5'000 years ago in the holy place in North India. The Gita is universally renowned as the crown jewel of India’s spiritual wisdom. Though ancient, the Gita remains a timeless voice of authority, wisdom and relevant for all people. It has inspired and been revered by some of the greatest minds:

"In the morning I bathe my intellect in the stupendous and cosmogonalphilosophy of the Bhagavad-Gita, in comparison with which our modern world and its literature seems puny and trivial."

—Henry David Thoreau

"When doubts haunt me, when disappointments stare me in the face, and I see not one ray of hope on the horizon, I turn to Bhagavad-Gita and find a verse to comfort me; and I immediately begin to smile in the midst of overwhelming sorrow. Those who meditate on the Gita will derive fresh joy and new meanings from it every day."

—Mahatma Gandhi

“When I read the Bhagavad-Gita and reflect about how God created this universe everything else seems so superfluous.”

—Albert Einstein

"The marvel of the Bhagavad-Gita is its truly beautiful revelation of life's wisdom which enables philosophy to blossom into religion"

—Herman Hesse

Course description

Discover is our foundational online course on the Bhagavad-Gita. Whether you’re a seeker or have found your spiritual path, Discover will enlighten your worldview with a philosophical framework. With its five-subject insight on the Gita, the course will offer perspective and clarity for life, whatever your vocation, profession or ambition.

Life if full of the intrigue of big questions. Who are we? Why are we here? Why do bad things happen to good people? What happens after death? Our fast paced, monotony of materialistic life leaves little time to fathom our deeper thoughts what to speak of seeking answers. Discover invites you to invest in 4 sessions and take a glimpse into the conversation between Sri Krishna and His intimate and perplexed friend, Arjuna. Based on a moral dilemma, the conversation carries us through the pages of the 700 verses as Krishna addresses Arjuna’s inner attitude to the challenges of life with insights on the self, the notion of work, the influences of this world, the impact of time and the presence of the divine.

Bring your curiosity, your queries and your questions to our Discover course. With dynamic presentations and opportunities for discussion and reflection, this course will prepare you to find meaning in your own dilemmas of life. Are you ready to Discover?

You will learn about:

  • Insights on the nature of the soul (jiva)
